Kim Johnson

Kim Johnson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Exceedingly Me Technical Training and Job Readiness Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals through technology education, workforce development, career readiness, and STEM education. With more than 40 years of experience in Information Technology, project management, business analysis, systems administration, and technical leadership, Kim has built a career centered on solving complex problems, developing people, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.

Holding both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in Project Management, Kim has worked with Fortune 500 companies and government organizations, including IBM, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), BellSouth/AT&T, Fiserv, and municipal government agencies. Throughout her career, she has successfully led technology initiatives involving cybersecurity compliance, infrastructure modernization, cloud technologies, project management, process improvement, and digital transformation.

Kim believes that technology should be accessible to everyone—not just those already working in the industry. This belief inspired her to establish Exceedingly Me Technical Training and Job Readiness Inc., where she combines technical expertise with education and community service to prepare youth, adults, seniors, veterans, career changers, and underserved communities for success in today's digital workforce.

Under her leadership, the organization develops innovative educational programs that blend Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Art (STEM-A) with practical life skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and career readiness. Her signature STEM-A Curriculum encourages creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and hands-on learning while helping students build confidence and discover future career possibilities.

Kim is also passionate about supporting adults who are re-entering the workforce after career breaks. Through customized technical refresher courses, workforce readiness training, résumé development, interview coaching, and technology education, she equips participants with the skills and confidence needed to compete in today's rapidly evolving job market.

Beyond technology, Kim is committed to serving her community through mentorship, educational workshops, nonprofit initiatives, and strategic partnerships with schools, community organizations, libraries, and workforce agencies. Her mission is to close the digital divide, inspire lifelong learning, and create pathways to sustainable careers for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
